Public Liability
Introduction
This Group Scheme Insurance policy is to facilitate IWS members conduct coaching and classes in a private capacity on a commercial basis and is separate from the Water Safety Area Committee activity which is covered by the organisations policies.
Cover up to €6.5m any one accident, unlimited any one period
cover is on a Claims Made Basis
Cover notes will be issued by IWS to individual members. Cover excludes sexual abuse, loss of income and libel and slander.
An excess of €250 will apply but only for third party property damage claims.
Personal Accident
Cover applies whilst teachers,instructors and examiners are on any premises for the purpose of engaging in teaching, coaching or giving instruction in their capacity as a member in accordance with IWS syllabi, methods and doctrine including direct travel to and from such activity and their place of residence.
Benefits
- Death €5,000
- Loss of limbs/eyes €50,000
- Permanent Total Disablement €50,000
- Temporary Total Disablement from usual occupation €50 per week up to 104 weeks
Benefit 4. is not payable for the first 14 days
IPB will deal with claims from beginning to end.
